摘要
已被微生物污染的档案库房如何治理是多年来困扰档案工作者的难题之一,担忧主要来自治理用的物理方法或化学试剂对档案实体的破坏及对人体健康的危害。本文通过采用低剂量甲醛高锰酸钾熏蒸消毒档案库房,检测并对比了消毒前后不同时间的纸张含水量、PH值、耐破度、耐折度、撕裂度等评价纸张耐久性的重要指标。结果发现,甲醛高锰酸钾熏蒸消毒可以小幅度降低纸张PH值、引起纸张耐破度下降,但对纸张含水量、撕裂度、抗张力、耐折度和断裂伸长率的影响没有统计学差异。综上,本文认为使用低剂量甲醛高锰酸钾进行档案库房熏蒸消毒会对纸张耐久性产生一定影响,但影响有限。在档案库房微生物污染严重需要治理的情况下,可以考虑使用甲醛高锰酸钾化学熏蒸消毒。
How to treat the archival repository polluted by microorganisms is one of the difficult problems that have puzzled archivists for many years.The main concern is the damage of physical methods or chemical reagents to the archives and the harm to human health.In order to understand the effect of low dose formaldehyde potassium permanganate fumigation on paper durability,the water content,PH value,bursting strength,folding endurance,tearing resistance of the paper at different times before and after disinfection were detected and compared.The results showed that formaldehyde potassium permanganate could reduce the PH value of the paper and the bursting strength of the paper,but there was no statistical difference on water content,folding endurance,tearing resistance and strength at break.In conclusion,the use of low-dose formaldehyde potassium permanganate to fumigate archival repository may have certain effect on paper durability,but the effect is limited.In the case of serious microbial pollution in archival repository,chemical fumigation with low dose formaldehyde and potassium permanganate can be considered.
