西双版纳亚洲象食物源基地利用状态研究

A Study on the Utilization of the Food Source Base of Asian Elephants in Xishuangbanna

于2009~2018年间,对记录到亚洲象进入西双版纳关坪食物源基地的情况进行了整理和分析,发现亚洲象在食物源基地的活动天数呈下降趋势,5~10月份为亚洲象在食物源基地的主要活动月份,其他月份的活动次数相对较少。随着保护工作的不断加强,亚洲象种群数量逐渐增加,食物源基地的食物资源只能作为小斑块取食地为亚洲象提供短期的食物来源。因此,亚洲象栖息地的恢复工作仍然是亚洲象保护工作中的重要一环,亚洲象只有在获得足够的栖息空间,才能正常地繁衍和生存。

From 2009 to 2018,this paper analyzed the data of Asian elephants entering the food source base in Guanping village.In the food source base,the activity days of Asian elephants were on the decline.The main activity months of Asian elephants were from May to October every year,and the activity times of other months were relatively few.With the strengthening of protection work,the Asian elephant population has increased gradually and the food source base is only as a small patch to provide short-term food sources for Asian elephants.As a result,the habitat restoration is still an important part of the Asian elephant conservation.Asian elephants can only multiply and survive normally if it has enough habitat space.
