中央文献翻译的国家利益规范

On the Norms of National Interests for the CPC Literature Translation

从翻译规范的角度提出国家利益规范这一概念,论证该概念因符合翻译规范的区别性特征而成为中央文献翻译规范的理据。由于中央文献翻译本身具有的政治性,国家利益规范的约束力应该强于语言层面忠实和通顺的翻译标准。最后论述了国家利益规范中最常考虑、最敏感的内容:党、国家和人民的形象、国家领土和主权完整、外交利益、政治利益。

This paper,from the perspective of translation norms,proposes the notion of norms of national interests which governs the CPC literature translation,by arguing that national interests conform to all the distinctive features of translation norms.It points out that due to the political nature of CPC literature translation,the norms of national interests have priority over the translation standards of faithfulness and fluency at linguistic level,also lists out some of the most considered and sensitive elements of the norms of national interests,i.e.the images of the CPC,China and the Chinese people,the integrity of territory and sovereignty,diplomatic and politic interests.
