in the national common language learning and use of the occasion, we are not opposed to learning classical Chinese, but firmly opposed to writing classical Chinese. The "Chinese language" in the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools does not match the "national commonly used spoken and written language" stipulated in the national language law. It has been 20 years since the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the State Commonly Used Spoken and Written Language was promulgated in 2000. At present, in the development of the western region, the development of ethnic minorities and poverty alleviation, the promotion of the national spoken and written language is regarded as an important means and state policy. But there is some neglect of language laws in the gaokao field. It is mainly reflected in the compositions of Mandarin, and even in the compositions of college entrance examination written in classical Chinese or oracle bone inscriptions. Moreover, the essays in classical Chinese are encouraged by the examiners. It is suggested that the national college entrance examination papers should strengthen the legal consciousness and normative consciousness of the national spoken and written language, and the essay questions should be stated in the instructions: "it is required to use the national spoken and written language.Otherwise points will be deducted."
