Interpretation of the official statement on physical activity of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease by the European Respiratory Association

慢性阻塞性肺疾病(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,COPD)作为呼吸系统常见疾病,除表现为持续性的气流受限,还存在多种肺外表现及合并症。COPD的多种肺外表现及其合并症被认为与COPD患者缺乏体力活动有关,且会影响患者预后。然而,二者之间的相关性尚未得到深入研究。2014年,欧洲呼吸学会针对COPD患者体力活动这一问题发表了官方声明,对有关COPD患者体力活动的现有研究结果进行了系统性阐述,旨在总结体力活动的影响因素以及体力活动缺乏的影响,以期为COPD患者提供具有建设性意义的治疗策略。本文对此声明进行简要的介绍和解读。

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is a common respiratory disease with high incidence rate and high morbidity rate.In addition to the airflow limitation,there are a variety of extra pulmonary manifestations and comorbidities,which have an impact on the physical activity of patients,thus affect the prognosis of the disease.However,the association between COPD and physical inactivity has not been well researched.In 2014,the European Respiratory Association issued an official statement on physical activity in patients with COPD that systematically summarizes the results of existing studies.It aimed at summarizing the influence factors of physical activity and the influence of physical inactivity,in order to provide constructive and meaningful physical activity treatment strategies for COPD patients.This article gave a brief introduction and interpretation of this statement.
