Since the founding of the People′s Republic of China,the optometric technology has developed rapidly.Our peers have created breakthroughs in the field exploration and technology evolution,which have made the optometric technology in China reach the highest level in the world.We review the development and driving force of optometric technology in our country.We would like to send congratulations on the 70th anniversary of Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology with this article.
