Being located in the north tropical and south subtropical monsoon climate zone,and with superior climate environment and abundant agricultural natural resources,Yunnan's hot zone is suitable for the development of a variety of tropical fruit trees with high economic value.As an important part of the agricultural economy in Yunnan's hot zone,tropical fruits occupy an critical position in the agricultural economy there.This article briefly summarized the development trend of Yunnan’s tropical fruit industry,analyzed the market prospects,difficulties and existing problems,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for future development of the tropical fruit industry in Yunnan.
