“一带一路”建设对中国机电行业出口产品质量影响效应——基于全球价值链视角

The impact effect of the Belt and Road Initiative on the quality of electromechanical industry’s export products in China:Based on the perspective of global value chain

使用中国机电行业对世界163个国家出口的HS四分位产品数据,实证分析“一带一路”建设对中国机电行业出口产品质量的影响效应。研究表明,“一带一路”建设对我国机电行业出口产品质量存在显著的促进作用;异质性分析也表明,“一带一路”建设能够显著促进机电行业异质性产品类别的出口产品质量提升。机制检验表明,我国机电行业全球价值链地位的提升是“一带一路”建设促进行业出口产品质量升级的重要路径;“一带一路”建设会分别通过影响行业在“一带一路”区域价值链中的地位和在发达国家主导的价值链中地位促进我国机电行业出口产品质量提升,且在“一带一路”区域价值链中地位的提升带来的促进作用相对更大。

Using the HS quartile product data of China’s electromechanical industry exporting to 163 countries in the world,this paper empirically analyzes the impact effect of the Belt and Road on the quality of China’s electromechanical industry export products.Studies have shown that the Belt and Road has a significant role in promoting the quality of export products of electromechanical industry.Heterogeneity analysis also shows that the Belt and Road can significantly promote the quality of export products of heterogeneous products in the electromechanical industry.The mechanism test shows that the improvement of the global value chain status of China’s electromechanical industry is an important path for the Belt and Road to promote the quality of export products of the industry;The Belt and Road will promote the improvement of the quality of China’s electromechanical industry export products by influencing the industry’s position in the Belt and Road regional value chain and its position in the value chain dominated by developed countries,and the promotion of the position in the Belt and Road regional value chain brings a greater role.
