The 21st Legislative Election of ROK and Its Implications

2020年4月举行的韩国第21届国会议员选举以执政党共同民主党的大胜告终,在国会形成了“朝大野小”的政治格局,而获得国会五分之三席位的执政党也成为掌握国会的“超级政党”。这一选举结果对文在寅政府无疑是一种鼓舞,并将对其执政的后半期,乃至两年后的总统大选产生影响。

The 21st legislative election of ROK held in April 15th ended with a landslide victory of the Democratic Party.The ruling party won a majority in the congress and become the“super party”which can control the Congress.The outcome of the election is an inspiration for the Moon Jae-in administration undoubtedly and will have a profound implication on the latter half of his administration and the coming president election.
