“一带一路”沿线国家留学生缘何来华求学——基于“双一流”建设大学的质性研究

摘要 “一带一路”倡议提出以来,沿线国家来华留学生数量不断攀升,助推了我国高等教育的国际化快速发展。通过对17名“一带一路”沿线国家留学生的质性访谈发现,影响留学生来华的动因是由内驱力、外驱力与牵引力三种不同力量作用而成,分别指向个体本身的意愿、不同主体的影响及现实条件的催化,其中华裔背景相关度、文化临近度与奖学金敏感度影响尤其明显,最终得出“一带一路”沿线国家留学生来华求学的“三力”影响机制。为加速“一带一路”高等教育的发展,政府要做好“一带一路”留学教育的顶层战略布局;高校要建立完善的留学教育信息机制与能够保证留学生质量的制度安排;个人要发挥主观能动性,提高核心竞争力,努力清除一切现实障碍。 Since the proposal of the“Belt and Road”initiative,the number of international students coming to China from the countries along the route has been increasing,which has contributed to the rapid development of China's higher education internationalization.Through qualitative interviews with 17 international students from countries along the“Belt and Road Initiative”,it is found that the motivations for international students to come to China are formed by three different forces:internal driving force,external driving force and traction force.,respectively pointing to the individual's own wishes,the influence of different subjects and the catalysis of real conditions.Among them,the influence of Chinese background relevance,cultural proximity and scholarship sensitivity are particularly obvious.Finally,the“three forces”influence mechanism for international students from countries along the“Belt and Road Initiatice”to study in China was obtained.In order to accelerate the development of higher education in region along the“Belt and Road”,the government should make a top-level strategic layout of the“Belt and Road”international education.Colleges and universities should establish a complete information system for studying abroad and institutional arrangements to ensure the quality of international students.Individuals must exert their initiative,improve their core competitiveness,and strive to remove all practical obstacles.
