《移居北方的时节》是苏丹现代作家塔依卜·萨利赫的代表作。本文通过梳理书中奥赛罗与昂泰拉故事的现代性重构,结合苏丹20世纪的复杂政治与种族状况,分析塔依卜·萨利赫通过与东西方经典的互文性对话,使文本的视野得以扩展,不仅令这个发生于现代苏丹的故事具有了隐喻人类悲剧境遇的普遍性,而且使主人公穆斯塔法的人生历程,具有了苏丹作为现代民族国家之命运的象征意义,进而拓展出处于西方、非洲和阿拉伯传统交汇中的苏丹文化认同与发展道路的历史性思考。

Season of Migration to the North is a representative work of Sudanese writer Tayeb Salih.This thesis analyzes how Tayeb Salih expanded the horizon of the text through intertextual dialogue with Eastern and Western classics,by sorting out the modern reconstruction of the stories of Othello and Antarah,combining the complex political and ethnic conditions of Sudan in the 20 th century.This not only makes the story happening in modern Sudan have the universality of human tragedy,but also provides the protagonist Mustafa’s life with the symbolic meaning of Sudan’s fate as a modern nation-state,and expands the historical thinking of Sudan’s cultural identity and development path at the intersection of Western,African and Arabic traditions.
