Objective:To explore the application and prognosis of early skull repair in the treatment of traumatic brain injury. Methods:From January 2018 to January 2020,60 patients with traumatic brain injury were selected and randomly divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional skull repair at 2 months after the first decompression. The study group was treated with early skull repair within 2 months after the first decompression. We compared the neurological deficit score(NIHSS),postoperative quality of life score and the incidence of complications between the two groups. Results:The postoperative NIHSS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative quality of life score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the clinical treatment of patients with traumatic brain injury, early skull repair can effectively improve the patient's neurological function, promote the recovery of neurological function, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and improve the quality of life after surgery.
