基于语料库的中美主流媒体灾难报道的批评话语分析

A Corpus-Based Critical Discourse Analysis of the Disaster News from China Daily and Washington Post

采取语料库与批评话语分析相结合的方法,通过自建语料库对《中国日报》和《华盛顿邮报》关于亚马孙森林大火的新闻报道进行对比分析,探讨中美主流媒体报道灾难新闻时所采用的话语策略,揭示灾难新闻报道背后的意识形态差异。研究发现,受发展理念、传统价值观以及政治立场因素的影响,看似中立的灾难性新闻报道依然蕴含意识形态差异。

Based on a corpus of news reports collected from China Daily and Washington Post published around the Amazon wildfires,and with critical discourse analysis as the theoretical framework,this study aims to investigate the discourse strategies employed by the two news agency,and to uncover ideological differences behind disaster news reports.It is found that due to differences in views of development,traditional values,and political leanings,those news reports which are seemingly objective and neutral are still ideologically embedded.
