摘要
英语专业学生的思辨能力普遍偏低,导致缺乏独立思考能力以及分析解决问题的能力。如何在英语专业知识课程中培养思辨能力越来越成为关注的焦点。本文阐述语言学课程与思辨能力的关系,从教学内容的选择、教学活动的开展、教学效果的评价几方面探讨语言学教学如何培养学生的思辨能力,从而探索英语专业知识课程培养思辨能力的有效途径。
English majors are poor in critical thinking skills,therefore they lack independent thinking and problem solving skills.It has become a hot issue how to cultivate students’ critical thinking skills,especially how to cultivate students’ critical thinking skills in English language knowledge courses.This paper studies the relationship between linguistics teaching and cultivating critical thinking skills and explores how to cultivate English majors’ critical thinking skills from the aspects of teaching contents,teaching activities and teaching evaluation in order to find an effective way of cultivating critical thinking skills in English language knowledge courses.
