期刊编辑对论文统计学方法的使用分析及评价--以医学论文中卡方检验分析为例

Analysis of Journal Editors,Applying the Statistical Method in Papers--Taking the one of Chi-square Test in Medical Papers as an Example

通过分析医学论文中卡方检检的使用情况及存在问题,对3种肿瘤类杂志所发表的文章为研究对象,对文章中统计学方法描述及卡方检验使用情况进行对比、分析和评价。结果发现552篇文章中统计表述有误的有52篇,占9.4%。143篇文章使用了卡方检验,共有34篇(占23.8%)卡方检验方法使用错误。卡方检验结果表述不完整的有54篇,占37.8%。针对此结果,建议科研人员及编辑掌握卡方检验的使用原则。

To analyze the application and problems of chi-square test in medical papers,articles were taken as research subjects published in 3 types of cancer-related journals.Their statistical descriptions and application of chi-square tests were surveyed,analyzed and evaluated.The results showed that:52 papers had wrong description among 552(9.4%);the chi-square test was used in 143 articles while 34 articles had wrong description(23.8%)and 54 papers had insufficient description(37.8%).Based on the results,we suggest that researchers and editors should follow the principles of applying the chi-square test.
