Research Progress of Urban Expansion Monitoring and Simulation Based on Earth Observation Technology

对地观测技术已经成为城市扩张监测与模拟的重要技术手段。从遥感和地理信息系统(GIS)这两项对地观测技术出发,系统阐述了利用遥感作为城市扩张监测手段的总体情况,分析了基于GIS的城市扩张模拟方法的研究进展,并展望了对地观测技术在城市扩张监测与模拟的应用前景。

Earth observation technology has become an important technical means for urban expansion monitoring and simulation.From the perspective of remote sensing and geographic information systems(GIS),this paper systematically expounds the general situation of using remote sensing as means of urban expansion monitoring,analyzes the research progress of urban expansion simulation methods which based on GIS,and forecasts the application prospects of earth observation technology in urban expansion monitoring and simulation.
