Cypripedium segawae,a new record of Cypripedium(Orchidaceae)from China's Mainland

本文报道了中国大陆新记录种——宝岛杓兰(Cypripedium segawae Masamune),对其进行详细的形态描述,并提供照片.宝岛杓兰原记录为中国台湾岛特有种,其主要特征为:花单朵,淡黄色或黄色;花瓣不扭转,线状披针形;唇瓣深囊状,近球型,罕有近红色细斑点,囊口较小并具齿状边缘;退化雄蕊呈心状三角形至戟形,基部明显具柄.现发现宝岛杓兰在中国大陆甘肃南部有分布.该种在大陆的发现对于丰富其地理分布的数据具有重要意义,也为兰科植物生物地理研究和保育工作提供新资料.

This article reports a newly recorded species of Cypripedium,C.segawae Masamune from China's Mainland.Detailed morphological descriptions and photographs are provided.C.segawae was previously considered a species endemic to Taiwan,China.It can be identified from other similar species by having 1 flower,light yellow or yellow;rarely twisted petals,linear-lanceolate;deeply pouched and subglobose lip,with a small mouth often toothed-margined;cordate-triangular or hastate staminode,distinctly stalked at the base.Now it has been identified in southern Gansu Province,China.The identification of this species in China's Mainland enriches its geographic distribution data as well as provides insights into the biogeographic research and conservation of orchids.
