What Can We Learn from Analytic Philosophy?

依据现代逻辑的理论和方法,分析哲学使真这个概念凸显出来,并且使真与意义的联系被揭示出来。借助这一视角可以看出,尽管传统哲学的核心概念乃是“是”,但是仍然有许多关于“真”的考虑。比如亚里士多德说的,说是者是,就是真的;康德说的,要寻求认识的普遍的真之标准;黑格尔说的,感觉确定性仅仅说出“它是”,显示的则是最抽象、最贫乏的真。哲学家们有关真的认识富有启示。它表明,在哲学研究特别是形而上学研究中,真这个概念乃是贯穿始终的,它的凸显和不凸显也是有原因的。因此深入探讨真这个概念乃是具有理论意义的。

Truth is the central concept of analytic philosophy,which shows the direct and close links between truth and meaning.Based on the point of view of analytic philosophy,the importance of the concept of truth can be also revealed in traditional philosophy.For instance,Aristotle says that it is true to say what is to be;Kant says that one has to ask for the universal criterion of truth for knowledge;and Hegel says that the sense certainty only expresses“it is”,while it shows the most abstract and incomplete truth.From what the philosopher say about truth we can learn that their concern for the concept of truth exists throughout history in the study of philosophy,especially in metaphysics.And its role and importance for philosophy is absolute and necessary.
