涉侨高等教育的理论维度、时代价值与地方探索——以温州大学为例

习近平总书记高度重视侨务工作,多次强调广大海外侨胞是推动住在国同中国各领域交流合作的“桥梁”,更是共筑中国梦的重要力量。在新时代深耕涉侨高等教育,是国家全方位对外开放的战略所需,是广大华侨华人及其子女后代所盼,是践行高等教育强国使命所在。浙江是侨务大省,温州是著名侨乡,温州大学“因侨而生”,无疑是区域内侨文化最为浓厚、侨特色最为鲜明的一所高校。温州大学在新时代彰显“因侨而生”的侨校风采,践行“以侨为桥”的历史使命,展现“为侨服务”的时代作为,既有建成以侨为特色高校的坚实基础和广阔前景,更有推及全国的典型价值和示范意义。

General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to affairs of overseas Chinese and has repeatedly stressed that the vast number of overseas Chinese are the“bridge”to promote exchanges and cooperation between China and the rest of the world in various fields,and are an important force for building the Chinese dream.Deepening the reform of higher education involving overseas Chinese in the new era is the strategic need of the country’s all-round opening up to the outside world,the hope of the vast number of overseas Chinese and their descendants,and the mission of reviving the country through higher education.Zhejiang is a major province of overseas Chinese affairs and Wenzhou is a well-known hometown of overseas Chinese.In this region,Wenzhou University,born with the support of overseas Chinese,has the strongest overseas Chinese culture and the most distinctive characteristics of overseas Chinese.It will further enhance its characteristics,take overseas Chinese as the bridge of communication and serve the overseas Chinese in the new era.It is hoped that the practice of Wenzhou University,with a solid foundation and broad prospects for the establishment of a university with overseas Chinese characteristics,will provide the typical value and significance for the country.
