This paper introduces the clinical experience of Professor XIE Jingri in the treatment of fatty liver disease(FLD).Professor XIE Jingri believes that the liver depression and spleen deficiency,phlegm and blood stasis,wet muddy retardation are the basic pathogenesis of FLD.Liver depression and spleen deficiency are the root,blood stasis,phlegm turbid are the target,and FLD is deficient in root and excessive in branch.Professor XIE Jingri treats disease based on pathogenesis characteristics of patients,and concerns both root and branch.Soothing the liver and fortifying the spleen,activating blood and dissolving stasis,eliminating dampness and purging turbid are the basic therapies.Professor XIE Jingri pays attention to nursing of living and diet,regulating emotions meanwhile,with them have obtained remarkable curative effect in clinic.Attached one medical record as a proof.
