近年来西域史研究受到学界的重视,但对匈奴与西域互动的研究却较为缺乏。《匈奴经营西域研究》是这一领域第一部成体系的著作,是作者在这一领域耕耘多年的成果。该书主要分为正文和附论两大部分,具有视角新颖、资料丰富、分析可靠、见微知著、文笔生动等特点。内容多有创新之处,如僮仆都尉赋税诸国、龟兹孔雀的相关研究以及对“射潮”所体现的思想观念的探讨,均对西域史研究有承上启下的作用。该书推动了这一领域的研究,同时给后学以启示和思路,学术意义和学术贡献都非常巨大。

In recent years,the study of the history of the Western Regions has received much attention from academic circles,but the research on the interaction between the Xiongnu and the Western Regions is relatively lacking.A Study of the Huns’Management of the Western Regions is the first systematic work in this field.The book is the result of many years of hard work in this field by the author.The book is mainly divided into two parts:the main text and the appendix.It has the characteristics of novel perspective,rich data,reliable analysis,multum in parvo and vivid writing.There are many innovations in the book,such as discussions on the content of the taxation of the Tongpu Duwei,the related research of the Qiuci peacock and the discussion of the ideas and concepts embodied in“shooting tide”.The book promotes research in this field with many innovations,and at the same time provides enlightenment for future generations,whose academic significance and academic contributions would be enormous.
