Application of PDCA Cycle in Hand Hygiene Management of Nurses in Disinfection Supply Room

目的浅析计划-执行-检查-处理(PDCA)循环对消毒供应室护理人员手卫生知识知晓率、洗手依从性的影响。方法选取本院2019年1—12月消毒供应室护理人员11名,实施PDCA循环,比较PDCA循环前后护理人员洗手依从性、手卫生知识知晓率以及依据七步洗手法进行洗手合格的情况。结果消毒供应室护理人员PDCA循环前手卫生依从率为77.06%,PDCA循环后手卫生依从率为95.59%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。消毒供应室护理人员PDCA循环前手卫生知识知晓率为63.64%,合格率为63.64%;PDCA循环后手卫生知识知晓率为100%,合格率为100%,较实施前均升高,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论消毒供应室护理人员实施PDCA循环的手卫生管理,能提升其手卫生知识知晓率以及洗手依从性,从而增强护理人员对手卫生重视程度以及医院卫生质量。

Objective To analyze the influence of the plan-do-check-action(PDCA)cycle on the hand hygiene knowledge awareness and hand washing compliance of nursing staff in the disinfection supply room.Methods Eleven nursing staff in the disinfection supply room of our hospital from January to December 2019 were selected to implement the PDCA cycle.The nursing staff's hand washing compliance,the knowledge rate of hand hygiene knowledge,and the hand washing qualification according to the seven-step hand washing method were compared before and after the PDCA cycle.Results The hand hygiene compliance rate of nurses in the disinfection supply room before PDCA cycle was 77.06%,and the hand hygiene compliance rate after PDCA cycle was 95.59%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nurses in the disinfection supply room had a 63.64%awareness of the hand hygiene knowledge before the PDCA cycle and a pass rate of 63.64%;the awareness rate of the hand hygiene knowledge after the PDCA cycle was 100%and the pass rate was 100%,higher than before implementation(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of PDCA cycle in hand hygiene management of the nursing staff in the disinfection supply room can significantly improve the knowledge of hand hygiene and compliance of hand washing,so as to enhance the importance of hand hygiene and the quality of hospital hygiene.
