摘要
采用Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin(WKB)法研究了太赫兹波在高温磁化非均匀等离子体鞘层中的传播特性.数值模拟结果表明太赫兹波和等离子体的相互作用受入射波频率、外加磁场、等离子温度、等离子体密度、碰撞频率和等离子体厚度等物理量的影响.当电子温度大于10 keV时会出现明显的温度效应.右旋极化太赫兹波对高温等离子体具有高通滤波特性.左右极化波在鞘层中的传播特性在低频段差异较大而高频段差异较小.相对于电子密度分布为均匀或双指数情形,等离子体鞘层电子密度分布为抛物型时太赫兹波更易穿透.研究结果对于克服“黑障”问题并优化通信质量具有一定的借鉴作用.
The Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin(WKB)method is employed to study the propagation characteristics of terahertz waves in high-temperature magnetized plasma.Numerical results indicate that the transmission characteristics will be influenced by all the physical parameters,such as the wave frequency,electron temperature,plasma density,collision frequency,thickness of plasma,the external magnetic field.When the electron temperature is higher than 10 keV,the temperature effect can be observed obviously.Right-handed polarized waves have high-pass filter characteristic in high temperature plasma.Right-handed polarized and left-handed waves have distinguished difference of transmission characteristic when the frequency of terahertz wave is lower.The results show that under certain conditions,the“blackout”problem can be overcome and the communication quality can be optimized.
