恩格斯具有丰富的思想政治教育思想。青年时期的恩格斯在《共产党宣言》的两个前期稿本——《共产主义信条草案》《共产主义原理》中,就已经提出了若干精辟的思想政治教育论断:对无产阶级进行宣传教育并使他们联合起来;共产主义者要捍卫、讨论和传播自己的原则;与其他党派的共同行动并不排斥讨论分歧意见;个人的幸福和大家的幸福是不可分割的,等等。

Friedrich Engels had thought much on ideological and political education.In his youth,in the two early manuscripts of Manifesto of the Communist Party—Drafts of Communism Creed and Principles of Communism,Engels had already put forward a number of incisive theses about ideological and political education,which include the proletariat must get united through propaganda and enlightening,communists must defend,discuss and disseminate their own principles,joint action with other parties does not exclude the discussion of divergent opinions,the happiness of the individual is inseparable from the happiness of all,and so on.
