An Analysis of the Causes of Bulging Deformation on the Side of Boiler Drums

文中就一起少见锅炉锅筒右前侧鼓包变形事故,通过检验、检测,进行原因分析,并提出处理意见;分析认为引起鼓包变形的主要原因是:锅炉左前炉门烧损,炉膛内高温烟气偏流,导致锅筒右前侧金属壁温高于其他部位,锅筒缺水时,锅筒右前侧金属壁温先于其他部位超过材料的许用温度,当锅筒压力超过材料的屈服极限时,发生鼓包变形。

This paper analyzes the causes of an accident of drum deformation on the front right side of boiler drum through inspection and detection,and puts forward the treatment suggestions.The main reasons are as follows:the left front door of the boiler is burnt out and the high temperature flue gas in the furnace deflects,which results in the metal wall temperature at the right front side of the drum higher than other parts;when the boiler drum is short of water,the metal wall temperature at the right front side of the boiler drum becomes higher than the allowable temperature of the material;and when the pressure exceeds the yield limit of the material,the boiler drum deformation occurs.
