历史周期率是一种客观现象。如何跳出“其兴也勃焉,其亡也忽焉”的历史周期率,是摆在中国共产党人面前尖锐而严肃的课题。在民主革命时期,中国共产党就以百倍的警惕,从严治党。新中国前30年,中国共产党在执政的条件下从严治党,力图跳出历史周期率,并为此进行了宝贵探索。改革开放以来,中国共产党继续从严治党,终于在党的十八大以后探索出了一条在长期执政条件下解决自身问题、跳出历史周期率的有效路径。中国共产党从严治党的百年探索充满艰辛,成果弥足珍贵。

Historical periodicity is an objective phenomenon.It is a sharp and solemn issue to be faced up with by Chinese communists as how to avoid its trap of“a flourishing prosperity and an abrupt demise”.During the Democratic Revolution period,the Communist Party of China(CPC)has begun its rigorous self-governance practice with the highest vigilance.In the first thirty years after the founding of New China,rigorous self-governance is further practiced under the condition of CPC being the ruling party,which tries every possible explorative means to avoid the above-mentioned historical periodicity trap.Ever since the Opening-up and Reform,even more rigorous self-governance continues in CPC,and a successful route has been exploited after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.It endeavors to solve problems aroused in CPC’s long-term governance and to avoid the historical periodicity trap of“a flourishing prosperity and an abrupt demise.”This century-long self-governance exploration is full of hardships and difficulties with precious achievements.
