A Review of Humanistic Research on Medical Waste

医疗废弃物人文研究从时间上可分为三个阶段起步阶段,认识到废弃物治理的重要性,主要围绕人与环境的关系展开;发展阶段,将废弃物问题与城市化发展、人类健康影响联系起来,20世纪80年代中后期出现了关于医疗废弃物的专门研究;新发展阶段,采用跨学科方法解读医疗废弃物,关注医疗废弃物对生态环境和公众健康的影响。医疗废弃物人文研究既具有理论意义,又具有实际的指导意义,能够丰富国内人文学科医疗废弃物的研究内容,同时将会成为公众审视医疗系统、政府制定医疗和环境政策的重要资源。

The humanistic research on medical waste can be divided into three stages in terms of time:in the initial stage,recognition of the importance of waste management,investigation on the relationship between human and the environment.Secondly,in the development stage,the problem of waste was linked to the development of urbanization and the impact on human health.Researches on medical waste first emerged in the late 1980s.In the new development stage,interdisciplinary methods had adopted to interpret medical waste and focused on the impact of medical waste on the ecological environment and public health.The humanistic research on medical waste has both theoretical and practical guiding significance,which can enrich the research content of medical waste in humanities in China,and will become an important resource for the public to examine the medical system and the government to formulate medical and environmental policies.
