摘要
作为专业的抓手,课程的建设理念对专业发展至关重要。以“产出导向法”为理论指导,在英语类翻译专业二年级必修课“中国文化概要”上开展了为期16周的教学实践和研究,包括教学任务的设计、实施以及效果的反思等,探究该理论应用于这一课程的途径和效果。研究发现,教师在深刻把握“产出导向法”理念和假设的基础上,将其流程“驱动—促成—评价”灵活贯穿在课程设计和实施中,最终使学生在英语表达和传播中国文化的意愿与能力方面得到充分提升。这一发现对于构建具有中国特色的英语类一流本科专业课程体系有一定的启示意义。
The construction concept of courses is crucial to the development of a discipline.Guided by the Production-oriented Approach(POA),the present study explores its application in the course“An Introduction to Chinese Culture”by carrying out a 16-week project,including the design of teaching tasks,implementation and reflection.Results show that this course has a significant effect on motivating students to use English to“do things”,particularly enhancing their willingness and capabilities to publicize Chinese culture in English through flexibly running the teachermediated teaching processes in three phases,namely,“motivating”“enabling”and“assessing”,together with grasping the teaching principles and hypotheses of POA.The research findings have some implications for promoting the construction of the first-rate English undergraduate discipline and curriculum system with Chinese characteristics.
