摘要
英语写作句法复杂度是衡量英语学习者写作水平的重要指标之一。以艺术院校大学生为研究对象,通过对不同专业学生的英语写作文本进行分析,试图从句法复杂度的三个方面,即T单位长度、子句长度和T单位复杂性比率探究艺术院校大学生英语写作句法复杂度现状,为学习者的英语写作水平的提升和日后的英语教学改革提供借鉴。
Syntactic complexity in English writing is one of the important indicators to measure learners’English writing proficiency.This study takes students of art institutes as research objects and conducts a text analysis on the English writings from students of different majors,trying to explore the current situation of syntactic complexity in English writings from students of art institutes from three aspects,namely words per T-unit,words per clause and clause per T-unit.The study aims to provide reference for the improvement of learners’English writing proficiency and for the future reform of English teaching.
