文化回译中的中国文化浅析——以《我在中国的童年》为例

摘要 中国学生留美学习最早始于1870年,中美文化交流也开始于这一时期。在此之后,越来越多的中国人在美国这块新大陆上学习、定居,并最终形成了美国华裔群体,同时也出现了美国华裔文学。基于文化回译的研究方法,以李恩富先生撰写的《我在中国的童年》为研究对象,对这本书及其汉译本所体现的中国文化进行分析,旨在促进中美文化之间的交流与理解,进而提升中国在海外的文化形象。此外,通过对《我在中国的童年》的研究,意在将中国文化逆向传播给中国读者,使国人更好地理解中国传统文化。 Chinese students started their learning in the United States as early as in 1870,and Sino-American cultural exchanges also began during thisperiod. Since then, an increasing number of Chinesehave studied and settled down in the new continentof the United States, and they have eventually formedthe Chinese American community, along with theemergence of Chinese-American literature. Basedon the research method of cultural back-translation,When I Was a Child in China written by Mr. LiEnfu, is used as the research object to analyze theChinese culture embodied in the book and its Chinesetranslation, in order to promote the communicationand understanding between Chinese and Americancultures, and thus to enhance China’s cultural imageabroad. In addition, through the analysis on When IWas a Child in China, this paper is intended to spreadadversely the Chinese culture to the Chinese readers,so that Chinese people can have a better understandingof traditional Chinese culture.
