淬硬钢专用整体硬质合金立铣刀设计及其切削性能

摘要 淬硬钢是一类较难加工的材料,经过淬火+低温回火热处理后硬度可高达4563HRC。因淬硬钢在切削时需要较大的切削力和产生较高的切削温度,若选用通用型整体硬质合金立铣刀加工此类材料零件,易使切削刃快速磨损或者崩刃。本文对淬硬钢材料的加工特点进行分析,介绍了加工淬硬钢专用立铣刀的设计要点,并通过切削试验验证了刀具的切削性能。 Hardened steel is a difficult-to-machine material.Through quenching and low-temperature tempering,its hardness can reach 45-63 HRC.As the cutting force required to cut hardened steel is large and the cutting temperature is high,the fast abrasion and chipping of the cutting edge may easily occur when general solid carbide end mills are used.In this paper,the machining characteristics of hardened steel are discussed,the key points of designing end mills for hardened steel are introduced,and the cutting performance of the tool is verified by cutting experiment.
