舆论霸权是美西方全球霸权的主要支柱之一,运用这个霸权的主要方式是操纵公众舆论,其手段包括随意指认敌人、伪造事实真相、误导公众认知等等,这是一项历史悠久、技术复杂的社会工程。而由于美西方本国的公众正是这一社会工程的主要实施对象,久而久之,这部分人群恰恰成了信息最闭塞、思维最单一、批评精神最差的一个群体。COVID-19疫情的突然降临,让美西方社会终于开始经受长期舆论操纵带来的报应。

The dominance of public opinions is one of the main pillars of the Western global hegemony.As a grand social engineering with a long history and technical complexity,manipulation on public opinion has been employed to assure the dominance,by the methods of randomly identifying enemies,falsifying the truth,misleading public perceptions,etc.Since the Western publics are the main object of this social engineering,over time they have become the population mostly ill-informed,single-minded and lack of critical thinking.With the sudden onset of COVID-19,the US and other Western societies have finally begun to experience the retribution brought about by the long manipulation of public opinion.
