摘要
以山长为代表的少数民族书院学人群体具有地理边缘和文化中心的双重身份,是值得深入发掘和进行整体研究的宝贵资源。清代云贵地区少数民族学人与书院结缘涉及白族、纳西族、彝族、布依族、苗族、侗族、土家族等,他们通过讲学、诗歌创作和方志编纂等活动,推动地方教育发展和文化传播,表现出儒家化的人格特质和家国情怀。探看云贵少数民族学人与书院的关系,可以管窥儒家文化在边疆多民族地区传播过程中对晚近中国大一统认同起到的特殊作用。
Represented by principals,scholars in ethnic minority academies are featured with dual identities,that is,geographic fringe and cultural center.therefore,they serve as precious resources that deserve deep exploration and holistic study.In the Qing Dynasty,the scholars from ethnic minorities in Yunnan and Guizhou regions became attached to academies,and these minorities were involved with the Bai,Naxi,Yi,Bouyei,Miao,Dong,and Tujia and the other nationalities.Through such activities as lectures,writing,poetry composition,and local chronicles compilation,they devoted themselves to promoting the education development and transmission of local cultures,showing Confucian’s personality traits and patriotism.Therefore,exploring the relationship between ethnic minority scholars and academies in Yunnan and Guizhou regions is helpful to have a restricted view at the special effects that Confucian culture played in the grand unification and self-identity of China in the late Qing Dynasty during its transmission in frontier minority areas.
