中国当代儿童读物英译出版与传播(2000-2019)

English Translation and Dissemination of Contemporary Chinese Children’s Books(2000-2019)

近年来中国的童书创作和出版取得了巨大成就,原创童书的品种和质量都取得了重大突破。但是与引进读物相比,中国童书向国外译介的规模还非常有限,译作接受效果也不尽如人意。本文拟对中国当代儿童读物在英语国家的译介、出版与传播情况进行考察,从翻译选材与译介主题、翻译主体与翻译方法、出版渠道与读者接受等三大方面分析其特征,并对中国当代儿童读物英译出版与传播提出三点建议:提高童书质量、丰富读物形式;强化国际意识、实现中外共创;拓展出版渠道、重视宣传推广。

Compared with the introduction of children’s books from foreign countries,the scale of translation and introduction of Chinese children’s books to foreign countries is still very limited,and their reception is not satisfactory.This paper investigates the translation,publication and acceptance of contemporary Chinese children’s books in English speaking countries,analyzes their characteristics from three aspects:selection of themes of translation,translation methods,publishing channels and readers’responses.It also puts forward three suggestions for the English translation and dissemination of contemporary Chinese children’s books abroad:improving the quality of children’s books and enriching the forms of reading materials;strengthening international cooperation;expanding publishing channels and publicity and promotion scales.
