戈革、周汝昌交游考略

Studies on the Friendship between Ge Ge and Zhou Ruchang

科学史专家戈革与红楼梦研究专家周汝昌本为挚友,多所酬唱,但"文革"中的误会,导致老死不相往来。二人均为某一领域卓有成就的专家,对于这段往事,后人保持了谨慎的缄默。今戈、周皆已作古,本着客观公正的态度,通过摭拾史料,将这段轶事和盘托出,以存前辈风流。

The historian of science Ge Ge and Zhou Ruchang, an expert on the study of A Dream in Red Mansions, were good friends, they used to write back and forth. But misunderstanding in the Cultural Revolution that few people know destroyed their friendship. Both of them were highly accomplished experts in a certain field, and the later generations kept a cautious silence about this past. Now both have passed on, this article reappears the past by sorting historical materials in an objective and impartial attitude, in order to bring back the history of them.
