An Analysis of Wedding Dresses in Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties

魏晋南北朝时期战乱频繁,一方面造成政权分裂与经济凋敝,另一方面,南北迁移、胡汉杂居,形成民族融合的局面。各民族的交流与融合,促使南北服饰相互影响;佛教传入、道教和玄学兴起,各种思想的激荡,人们冲破传统思想的束缚,对服饰的需求出现新的变化,而婚服作为服饰中极为正式和重要的代表,在这一时期也呈现多样化的特点。

On the one hand,frequent wars during the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties resulted in the split of the regime and economic decline.On the other hand,the migration of the North and the South and the mixed living of Hu and Han form a situation of ethnic integration.The exchange and integration of various ethnic groups has promoted the mutual influence of weddingdress in the North and the South.With the introduction of Buddhism,Taoism and metaphysics rose up,and the emergence of various ideas has prompted new changes in people’s demand for costumes.Wedding clothes,as a very formal and important representative of costumes,have presented the diversity in this period.
