学术精神治报与智识阶级治病——以《晨报》周年纪念增刊为例

Academic Spirit Working on the Press and the Intellectual Class Curing the Society——Taking Annual Anniversary Supplement to the Morning Post as an Example

1919年到1925年,正是《晨报》及其副刊的鼎盛时期,该报连续七年出版周年纪念增刊。以此为观察窗口可见,智识阶级介入报刊很难脱离知识人的本色特征,新旧几代智识阶级相聚在报刊园地,以学术精神治报,以此为社会治病,形成中国现代报刊发展尤其是副刊历史上的“光荣时代”。这既是时代巨变后权势转移造成的结果,也是《晨报》及其副刊得以史上留名的原因。

From 1919 to 1925,the Morning Post and its supplement experienced its heyday and published its annual anniversary supplement for seven consecutive years.It is visible that the intellectual class working on newspapers still remained their characteristics.The old and new generations of the intellectual class worked together in the press field with the academic spirit to cure the society,forming“an era of glory”of Chinese press development especially in the history of the supplement,which was the result of the transfer of power after great changes of the times and also the reason why the Morning Post and its supplement made its imprint in history.
