In the communication and research of printing and book design,Leipzig’s"The Best Book Design from All Over the World"has played a very positive and important role,and has a wide range of international influence.With the rapid development of electronic information technology,the"screen reading"mode,which is different from the traditional reading mode and order,has created a huge impact on the printing media represented by books.Against this background,"The Best Book Design from All Over the World"vividly demonstrates the new exploration and concept of contemporary book design.Taking part of the design works of certain"The Best Book Design from All Over the World"as examples,this paper attempts to understand the functions and phenomena of the media in the contemporary context,and to expound the new forms,new functions and new concepts of contemporary book design and the causes behind them.
