摘要
通过考校台湾各种地方文献、文集等,台湾书院至少培育进士9名,举人10名,五贡生16名。其中进士人数接近台籍进士的三分之一,蔡廷兰中二甲第六十一名,为台湾科举史上最高成绩。这些人员中又有十余人在书院讲学,其中进士为6人,超过台籍进士书院讲学数量的三分之一。台湾书院补官学之阙,及对台湾科举发展之贡献,由此可见一斑。
The examination of Taiwan’s various local documents, collections, etc., shows that Taiwan Academy produced at least 9 jinshi, 10 juren, and 16 gongsheng. The jinshi is close to one-third of the whole Taiwan Residents in number, and Cai Tinglan ranked 61 th, the highest in the history of the Taiwan imperial examination. More than ten of them lectured at the academy, including six jinshi, over one-third of the Taiwan Residents jinshi lecturing at the academy. It is evident that Taiwan Academy makes much contribution to the development of the imperial examination.
