徐海鸡母鸡距长性状的遗传力估计及其与繁殖性状的关联分析

Estimation of Heritability of Spur length and Its Association with Reproductive Traits in Xuhai Hens

本研究旨在通过估测徐海鸡母鸡距长性状和其他繁殖性状的遗传参数,为该品种的保种和开发利用提供指导。研究测定了44个半同胞家系的660只徐海鸡母鸡的距长,应用DMU软件估计了遗传力以及距长与繁殖性状的遗传相关和表型相关。结果发现:徐海鸡母鸡300日龄平均距长为9.28 mm,变异系数为52.31%。距长的遗传力为0.52,属于高遗传力;300日龄产蛋数、开产日龄和开产体重的遗传力分别为0.35、0.22和0.28;距长与繁殖性状之间的遗传相关和表型相关较弱,在-0.10~0.21。本研究表明徐海鸡的育种工作中可以通过对母鸡距长进行选择以巩固品种特色。

In this study,we evaluated the heritability of spur length trait in Xuhai hens,and we also calculated the genetic and phenotypic correlation between spur length and three reproductive traits,which could provide theoretical support for conservation and utilization programs for Xuhai chicken.We measured spur lengths of 660 Xuhai hens from 44 halfsib families.Spur length heritability,genetic and phenotypic correlation between spur length and reproductive traits were evaluated by the DMU software.The result showed that the mean spur length of Xuhai hens was 9.28mm,and the variable coefficient of this trait was 52.31%.The heritability of spur length trait was 0.52,which represented high heritability.The heritability of egg production in 300 days,the day at the first egg,and body weight at the age of the first egg were 0.35,0.22,and 0.28,respectively.Furthermore,the genetic correlation between spur length and reproductive traits were weak,ranging from-0.1 to 0.21.The results show that the breed characteristics can be strengthened by the selection of spur length in the breeding programs of Xuhai chickens.
