Mao Zedong’s military and national defense thought is the correct military theory proved by practice,and it still has important practical guiding significance for the construction of the socialist army with Chinese characteristics and national defense and the realization of the goal of building a strong military.In 2019,academic researches on Mao Zedong’s military philosophy,military strategy,thought on building the people’s army,military work On Protracted War,marine strategy and thought on building national defense are fruitful,and continuously open up a new realm of studying Mao Zedong’s military and national defense thought,and provide a theoretical support for realizing the goal of building a strong military in the new era.
