Xiaochaihu Decoction in Treating Polycystic Ovary Syndrome for Two Proved Cases

小柴胡汤源自《伤寒杂病论》,具有疏通枢机、和解少阳、清解表里、调和气血、调理脾胃、调畅三焦、扶正祛邪等功效。多囊卵巢综合征是导致妇女不孕的常见原因之一。其病机常与肾虚、肝郁、痰湿及血瘀有关,但其基本病机不离“肝郁”二字。针对“肝郁”这一基本病机,据仲景“但见一症便是,不必悉俱”之旨,临证常选用小柴胡汤化裁,临床效果确切。

Xiaochaihu decoction,originated from Shanghan Zabing Lun,has the functions of dredging cardinal,reconciling Shaoyang,clearing away exterior and interior,regulating qi and blood,regulating spleen and stomach,regulating triple energizer,strengthening body and dispelling pathogenic factors.Other studies show that the main syndrome types of PCOS are kidney deficiency,liver depression,and phlegm-dampness and blood stasis.PCOS is a common cause of infertility in women with polycystic ovary due to the intense social competition and emotional disturbance of infertile patients,and most of them are accompanied with liver depression.And because of the same origin of liver and kidney,liver depression can turn heat,turn fire damage yin,dark damage liver and kidney,liver depression is also easy to pass spleen,leading to loss of spleen function,phlegm turbid endogenous,liver depression can cause qi stagnation and blood stasis.Therefore,the author treats PCOS,in view of this basic pathogenesis,often chooses the small bupleurum decoction to cut,the clinical effect is exact,now chooses two cases as follows.
