摘要
在高校引才过程中,存在着“唯帽子”的“符号消费”现象:头衔而不是学者本身成为被需求的对象。头衔符号的能指与所指相分离,符号的能指特性被过分强调,所指特性被漠视甚至否定。学者和高校被头衔符号的潜在利益和符码规则所操控。学者的地位等级结构与头衔符号的等级结构呈现出同构性。头衔符号通过生产象征权力,影响着学术秩序的建构与再生产。破解“唯帽子”难题首先应转变思路,发挥头衔符号的正向功能。同时,设置退出机制,遏制“帽子”的市场化运作;改革高校评价机制,不以“帽子”论学科建设与发展水平。最终,使头衔回归学术性与荣誉性。
There is a symbolic consumption phenomenon of“title-only”in the process of attracting talents in universities.The title,not the scholar itself,becomes the object of demand.The signifier of title symbols is separated from the signified,the signifier characteristics of the symbols are overemphasized,and the signified is ignored or even denied.Scholars and universities are manipulated by the potential benefits and code rules of title symbols.Moreover,the rank structure of scholars and the hierarchical structure of title symbols show the same structure.Title symbols influence the construction and reproduction of academic order through the production of symbolic power.In order to solve the“title-only”problem,we should first change our thinking and give play to the positive function of the title symbol.At the same time,the exit mechanism should be set up to curb the marketization of the"title".We should reform the evaluation mechanism of universities,and not use"title"to discuss the level of discipline construction and development.Finally,we should let the title return to academic and honorary.
