Song Yunbin and Lu Xun were fellow town folks who never met each other,but he established a close relationship with Lu Xun through his literary works,hence his vital status as an expert in the study of Lu Xun in early times;his research and comments on Lu Xun,his participation in the activities related to Lu Xun,and his reading of the theses on Lu Xun,were all recorded in his diaries,the analysis of which could help broaden and deepen the researches in this field.
