Objective To study the effect of health information literacy on willingness of human papillomavirus(HPV)vaccination in university undergraduates. Methods Four dimensions of health information literacy were found by factor analysis and the hypothesis of model was verified by hierarchical regression analysis. Results Hierar chical regression analysis showed that health information assessment competence in health information literacy could significantly affect the willingness of HPV vaccination in university undergraduates.Age was positively related to health information awareness dimension and vaccination willingness(β=0.064,P<0.05)and education level was positively related to health information retrieval competence and vaccination willingness(β=0.077,P<0.05).Conclusion Health information literacy can affect the willingness of HPV vaccination in university undergraduates.
