Reconstructing the Edge Renovating the Wall of Changwu Residential District

介绍并分析了上海浦东新区一段近400m的社区围墙被改造为线型园林的设计过程;指出在城市微更新的过程中,设计师应当以一种灵活、协调、有机的修补匠式工作方法重塑城市的有机特征,对城市中普遍碎片化的问题语境展开动态的增补、缝合、重构,以构建具有整体性的现代城市。

This paper introduces the design process of transforming a sec t of wall of approximately 40 0 meters into a linear garden in a community in New Pudong District, Shanghai. It maintains designers should reshape the organic characteristics of the city during urban micro regeneration in a flexible, coordinated and organic way, to mend urban fabrics and to dynamically supplement, sew and reconstruct the fragmented discourses of problems to shape a city of integrity.
