The Vocational Education in a Digital Economy

稳就业关乎国家核心利益和国际形象,完成好这一任务,高质量的职业教育是根本。数字经济背景下职业教育具有重要经济社会意义,主要体现在有助于实现制造业高质量发展、激发社会活力和提升营商环境国际竞争力等方面。国际上,当前职业教育改革的重点是创新政策理念、形成激励性地方政策和加强平台建设。在顶层设计层面,数字经济背景下中国职业教育应优先关注填补基础研究关键空白、从国际发展视角制定全国性职业教育指南、完善和创新网络化职业教育、改进带头人选拔模式、推动跨学科团队建设。

Employment creation is essential to the core interest,and national image of every coun-try.Under the impetus of digital economy as a powerful catalyst,and a driver of global transforma-tion,government should have no doubt about the key role of vocational education in transforming the economy and society for the better.The socio-economic significance of vocational education in a digital economy is presented above all in the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,recovery of social robustness,and advances in business environment.Globally,the overall efforts made by developed countries to ensure better employability in digital economy focus primarily on in-novation of policy principles,construction of incentive oriented local policy system,and enhance-ment of mechanism.Regarding the major policy recommendations for China's vocational education to meet the evolving demands of a digital economy are--Fill the major gaps in strategic empirical research through above all the innovation of theory and methodology which has been largely over-looked;Adopt an international outlook to lay out the detailed plans;Propel online vocational edu-cation through national programs;and set new principles for fostering adaptive leaders,and inter-disciplinary teams to keep China's vocational education systematic,dynamic and competitive.
