第三党与全面抗战时期的民主宪政运动述论

A Research on the Relationship Between the Third-party and the Democratic Constitutional Movement During the Eight-year War Against Japanese Aggression

第三党是一个素来追求民主政治的政党。在八年全面抗战时期,第三党以国民参政会和民盟为平台,在推动第一次民主宪政运动及民主力量的大联合过程中,和青年党、乡建派等一起发挥了核心作用。在第二次宪政运动中,章伯钧代表第三党仍然积极参与。第三党促使民盟左转并推动民盟与中共的合作关系,使得中共在民主宪政运动中能够与第三党、民盟相互扶持和配合,从而大大壮大了民主运动的力量,推动了宪政运动走向深入。第三党积极推动民主宪政运动,自有其积极意义,但是实践证明,民主宪政之路在当时终究还是无法走通。

The Third-party was an organization aiming at democracy.During the eight-year war against Japanese aggression,the Third-party,together with the Youth Party and the Rural Construction Association,played an important role in promoting the first democratic constitutional movement and uniting the democratic forces while taking the National Council and the Democratic League as the platform.Chang Po-chün led the Third-party to actively participate in the second democratic constitutional movement,pushed the Democratic League to turn left and cooperate with the Communist Party of China,which strengthened the power of the democratic forces and promoted the constitutional movement.Although the Third-party promoted the democratic constitutional movement,the practice proved that the road of democratic constitutionalism could not be reached at that time.
