Jin Ping Mei is a controversial novel which has been banned and destroyed in history.At the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the development of newspaper industry promoted the spread of the novel.People gradually realize that this is a work with profound social significance,which goes beyond the limitations of the times.With the development of the novel theory and the changing background of the times,the novel has gone beyond the scope of literature and gained value in the field of history and reality.
