湖北石首土城垸新石器时代遗址试掘

Excavation Report of Neolithic Remains at the Tuchengyuan Site in Shishou City,Hubei Province

武汉大学历史学院考古系于2018年11月至12月对湖北石首走马岭史前城址附近的土城垸遗址进行了勘探与试掘,揭露出房址、灰坑等遗迹,出土了较丰富的陶片、石器和少量玉器,文化内涵主要为石家河文化和煤山文化,为研究走马岭城址周边区域聚落形态与演变提供了重要资料。

From November to December 2018,archaeological survey and test excavation was carried out at Tuchengyuan,which is close to the Zoumaling site,in Shishou City of Hubei Province by the School of History at Wuhan University.The survey and excavation have revealed features of the Neolithic times such as house structure and ash pits as well as artifacts made of pottery,stone,and jade.It is clear that the site was occupied mainly through the Shijiahe Culture to the Meishan Culture which,we believe,provide important source information for studying shifting regional settlement patterns around the Zoumaling site.
